GIMP on OS X
GIMP on OS X
GIMP 2.6.12 has been released. This is the final version of the current stable 2.6.12 series.
Beside a lot of bug fixes, and to shorten the time to the release of 2.8 a bit, I‘ve included a new plugin: exif-browser. This will, as its name implies, let you browse the EXIF data of your images.
And to make the GIMP on OS X version even more attractive for photo editing, I‘ve added some code to the the sources which will preserve EXIF and IPTC metadata on TIFF and JPEG images, so they don‘t get lost in your photo editing workflow.
For a brief information about all those other great and powerful plugins which are shipped preinstalled with the GIMP on OS X packages, just go to the Photo Editing page.
So, enjoy your new GIMP ...
